I'll take a stack with that

For those who may not be familiar, a stack refers to pancakes, and buckets hanging from trees refers to the practice of making maple syrup.

The sap from maple trees is collected and boiled down to render the trademark product of Vermont - maple syrup. These must be rather vintage buckets. Back in Wisconsin they use a 5 gallon PVC bucket. Modern Vermonters tap hundreds of trees and collect the sap in food grade tubes that run for miles from tree to tree to eventually the sugar shack where its cooked.

As for me, I'm quiet happy with a heaping of wild Maine blueberries.
