Snail Racing --- Unfair Advantage

I couldn’t resist this "stop action" image of snail racing.

In my slightly off the wall sense of the world, it seems the slug has an unfair advantage over the snail due to the slug's advanced aerodynamic design.

I am reminded of a favorite book called The Unfair Advantage by Mark Donohue, a hero of my youth, whom I appreciated more as I aged.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who might want an insight into a top level professional race driver’s life and the sport professional racing.
