I used to tell Fred that the Easter Bunny gets his ears from the Magnolia tree. He believed me. When Easter was early he'd fret. So, I told him that the Easter Bunny would make do with Tulip petals. He believed that, too.

Magnolia buds tend to quite suddenly spring forth off limbs. And then, with just the tiniest hint of sunshine they burst open!

Swear I took a turn around the garden last night, and not much was going on with the Magnolia tree.
