It's been a good friday

Tom here, and Bob and I are off work. Getting ready for Alex and Zoe to arrive with Mum and friend Mark.

Across the road is a paddock with horses and a great source of pine mushrooms. With all the rain they have been popping up their heads like mad, but this is the first time this season I've ventured across.

So pine mushrooms cooked in butter, garlic and white wine, to be had with potatoes from the garden layered with cream and anchovies, with green veg (bought) and duck in Bob's marmalade. Other things too, of course, but that's the main course anyway.
