......for dogs on Cullercoats beach is fast approaching, make the most of it while you can dawgies!

Waiting for the return, probably in vain, of the drive-by tree fellers who cut down a whopper leylandii at the bottom of the garden yesterday.....they were supposed to be back with a chipper this morning to dispose of the remains but I suspect I'll never see them again (the fact that the mobile contact number that they left is 'not in use' is a bit of a giveaway!) Still, at least the monster is down, the tree itself isn't 'in the way' and I didn't pay them a kings ransom in the first place......so if you want some free firewood just bring your own chain saw and help yourself, I'll leave the garden gate open;-)
