Reception Area, Hotel La Maison, Istanbul

You can see the 'French' influences in the reception area of Hotel La Maison.

The hotel generally continues to please in general (although we could both cheerfully strangle the dogs that howl outside in the night), but my oh my it's at the top of a steep hill. Basically, you have to walk down to the level of the Bosphorus in order to go anyway (and walk back up at the end). We did take a taxi when we went out yesterday (and when we came back), but of course in Istanbul that comes with its own hazards :-((
