Aerial tower

I thought I'd complement yesterday's blip of a natural leaf skeleton pattern in white-on-black with a rather similar, but man-made, pattern today.

This is a local aerial tower photographed against a blue sky (lovely weather!) then manipulated to produce a similar effect to yesterday's picture.

(I took this picture on my phone this morning while out jogging. This afternoon I decided that I should go back with my SLR as that might work better. In fact the phone picture worked best in the end - somehow it is more ethereal!!)

I still prefer nature's pattern but it is nice to be able to compare them.
