Heaton Mersy

We had a really wonderful day with Tom while Anna was at work. (she's a ward sister at the Christie oncology hospital in Manchester) We walked along the Mersey to Didsbury which is a bit like Glasgow's west end, kind of trendy I suppose. We had a nice lunch then walked back a different route using part of the tram line. In the afternoon I read for two hours with my eyes closed in the sunshine which was a real treat. When Anna came home we walked again, this time to Heaton Moor for drinks and dinner, then home to bed, pretty good all round.
