Yes they are magnificent beasts and at the top of the food chain for a reason...we followed this male (he also had two females with him) while they stalked a herd of Impala. he was walking for a while and then just plopped himself down...he was only about 10 feet away from our vehicle...amazing. what a fantastic end to our African Safari...off to Cape Town this afternoon.
