REO was on a DoE practice walk from Glenrothes to Falkland, so after dropping her off, FMO and I headed to a local nature reserve by Collessie. The Birnie & Gaddon lochs are reclaimed sand and gravel workings - it takes an hour (a very pleasant & easy hour) to walk round the path.

This little robin decided to join us at one point and would not let us pass until we had paid a heavy price, in this case, a little piece of banana loaf - toll paid, we were allowed to go on our way and get to Falkland in time to pick up a weary daughter.

What a fine day it's been.
