I changed the feeder on a suggestion that this style should keep the bees away and it looks like it's working... so far. There is only one small hole for the birds and too small for the bees. A few bees show up but they leave in short order.
I'm fairly sure this one is a Rufus hummingbird and a male identified with white tips on his tail feathers. I'm finding that using a flash is the only way to go shooting these little fast moving birds.
