Der Kindlifresserbrunnen, Bern

I was in Bern, which is actually one of the most charming cities I have ever visited.
Can I call a town cute? This one is :-) I was just here for a daytrip from Zurich.

Down by the city centre clock is this kitschy fountain, called the Kindlifresserbrunnen. AKA the Child Eater Fountain.

At the base of this fountain is a little circle of bears, wearing belts with the Swiss flag on them. The top of the fountain isn't as sweet and cute as the base!
