The Blackcountry Man

Work for Idle Hands....

Two of our party had to leave today so the rest of us went for a walk to the Hatton Locks on the Grand Union Canal, all twenty one of them, we did divert to the pub for a couple of pints and a warm.
On the way back we saw a boat that had traversed all the twenty one locks and while the bloke drove the narrow boat the women had to do the honors with the lock gates and the sluices, this was the final lock and they both seemed happy enough even though it had taken them three and a half hours to get from the bottom to the top, I bet they were glad to be finished though.

After that really nice day yesterday today was miserable and cold, but we all enjoyed the walk.
