Friends

Today has been amazing. We drove from our first travel inn to Seaton Carew where Gary took a trip down memory lane. We went to the sea front where the kids had fun exploring the sand dunes.

From there we drove to Hartlepool marina and spent some time in the Hartlepool museum before checking in at the Premier Inn.

Wow, premier inn have redesigned their rooms and we were allocated one of their brand new rooms - very plush and modern.

Later this afternoon I had a special meeting. A lady that I have befriended on Twitter for a good couple of years - a mum of two gorgeous boys with autism, had arranged to meet up with us. The really special part was that her two boys also braved the visit.

We spent a good hour walking around the marina and chatting as if we had done this a thousand times. The children were all happy to skip along with us in their own ways. My friends boys loved seeing all the boats.

Saying goodbye was weird, like we would see each other again next week, but actually we will just chat again soon online.
