Happy Easter from the Mckenzie Marsh

Edward and I went for a walk around the Mckenzie Marsh today as it was lovely and sunny out! A perfect Easter Sunday! There were many Canada geese sitting on nest throughout the marsh and many of the marsh turtles were sunning themselves on logs. The redwing black birds were singing and showing off their colourful patches on their wings and the tree swallows were setting up nests in the blue bird boxes on the grounds. This tree swallow was sitting on one of the boxes claiming it for it's self and mate! Wishing everyone a Very Happy Easter and lovely weekend!
