Peacock Butterfly

Spotted at Malleny Garden, Balerno, Edinburgh. These may be common in England and Wales, but rarer in Scotland. I think this may the first time I have posted a butterfly shot in this journal.

Easter Sunday. An early start, we drove through to Edinburgh, and went to the service at Central Church, Tollcross. The former Methodist Central Halls, which have been renovated by the Morningside Baptist congregation. Lovely to have a mix of contemporary worship band and a fine organ to accompany a large congregation.

Such a beautiful day, we took my parents up to Malleny Garden. A small, but beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Looked after by the National Trust for Scotland.
