I love forests, just not when they visit me

One of the crashes we heard yesterday during the strong winds was this tree falling aginst the house, luckily for us no harm was done to the house or to anyone in it. Landing in the poarch that backs onto the garden, it has fallen from the hill behind the house, you can see the trunk extending behind another tree.
