Blackbird nesting

I was watching the blackbirds getting nesting material in our garden and then going next door, to the yew hedge, to build their nests, early this morning as I was having a cuppa. Suddenly 3 noisy ducks flew overhead and startled both me and the blackbird! Up went her tail feathers in alarm and she delayed long enough for me to get a shot! Bingo - this was my blip for today sorted at 6.30am!
