Sair

After his fall down the stairs yesterday, Calum got up complaining that his foot was sore. There was no swelling but I took him to the hospital just to get checked.

So different form the UK. We wandered into an empty Accident & Emergency, handed over the medical insurance card. 30 minutes later he was strapped up after an X-Ray on our way to see the Orthopaedic surgeon. He cut off the dressing and checked the x-rays. It turns out that Calum has a hairline fracture on his heel.

He got strapped up again with a plaster support, and told to come back in a couple of weeks. The whole process took under two hours, a chunk of that was buying crutches.

He thought it was good in the wheelchair, but was fed up on the crutches after one length of the school.
