Reasons to smile...

Last week one of my colleagues made a courgette and chocolate cake which reminded me of reading about "cola cake". I was inspired to attempt an "irn bru cake" which seemed to be working, and was rising well...but when I took it out the over it sunk and also it wasn't entirely cooked through, though burning on the bottom. Not ideal. I donated it to my parents, well, my dad, since my mum got a necklace at the weekend - only fair to spread the gifting! I think the reviews were that the flavour was ok, tasted irn bru like....but the texture not great.

Will I try again? Probably not!
