The Road to Hexham

...and beyond.

Our Easter weekend up in Northumberland has sadly come to an end. We've had a lovely time up north with Jenny's family, we've been so well looked after & it's been super relaxing.

We set off this morning, & after a quick pit stop at Allendale Tea Rooms for a few tasty treats, we hit the road. The rolling, sheep dotted Northumberland moorlands can be seen from all around, more or less from any given point. I couldn't resist one last look back at the scenery over one of the brilliant dry stone walls.
