First day back at school after the Easter break so the temperature dropped, the wind picked up and the rain came down. Making it even harder to get everyone up this morning. Normal service resumed though, the whippet always starts to pace the hall just before the kids come in from school so she can welcome them back and get a hug.

I have spent most of the day in the kitchen, drinking tea and reading pensions research for something I'm writing. That's when I wasn't keeping abreast of the news coming from Old Trafford about "the chosen one".

It's still raining now and Eve has a rearranged football match tonight so I'd better get something hot made up for dinner.
