And there they are, every day, calling me with their squeaky voice.
"Take me home, take me home", they chant.
"I cannot" I reply
"Why, why?" they ask nearly in tears, as they like me as much as I like them.
"Because if I take you, there will be no more home to go back"
(dear oh dear…they are expensive those little shoes).

In any case I can certainly live without them. I am half way through an article that states that you can buy happiness, but for that you have to simplify your life. How much? I wonder.
The answer maybe in a few days when I finish reading and doing some serious thinking.
