Day 16 of chantler63's April Shakespeare challenge - As dead as a doornail

In preparation for lots of painting (gloss as opposed to watercolour or oils) over the Easter weekend I have started preparing 11 doors that need to be painted (almost all on both sides). This rather bent hook (I know it's not a door nail) was removed from one door. While being a handy hanging place I felt that it was time that it was replaced with something that didn't hang at an odd angle, so it's been removed and will be replaced with a bright shiny brass-effect one.

Just catching up on uploading lots of blips having gone "off-line" while decorating over Easter.
