Lochetic

So for the past 22 days I've been waiting for the opportunity to take a photo for Word no.31, Lochetic, meaning waiting in ambush, or lying in wait... usually used of spiders.
You know how when you don't want a spider in the bath, there's always one there? The size of a small battleship. With teeth.
And exactly as you'd expect, when you do want a spider in the bath, any size, any shape, just so long as it's in the bath where you can take a nice, lochetic looking photo of it... no spider. Uncooperative beasties!

And then today, here's Puffin, ambushing the strap of my camera bag from the warmest sunspot on the kitchen floor. Fair enough; I am not one to pass by a golden opportunity like this.
A lochetic feline it is, then.
