Caroline Thom has driven heavy trucks for 20 years, today she was delivering agricultural fertiliser.

What struck me was the outstanding appearance of this Hayton Coulthard smartly liveried Volvo....it was spotless, a credit to the driver and the company.

Later when I saw it was a woman driver perhaps I should not have been surprised.

In recognition of her position as only lady driver in the fleet her boss has named the truck CAROLINES'S PRIDE which is prominently embossed on the front above the grill.
