First Cut

Sad to relate, but this was the most interesting thing that's happened so far today:-) The Council came to cut the grass in the park behind our garden for the first time this year and I got a wave from the driver!!

I had hoped to visit a friend, but she rang to say she was full of the cold so it didn't seem like such a good idea and has been postponed until she's better. I really can't afford to catch any infections at the moment.

Finding it hard to concentrate on reading, other than recipe books for low-fat meals. I've got a few lined up to try out, so hope they are as tasty as they look.
