The Treby Arms - Sparkwell, Devon

Went to this delightful rustic pub for a belated Anniversary lunch today, and delicious it was too. I cannot begin to tell you of all the things we had to eat, but did end up with 'Death by Chocolate' to finish off the meal.
The Treby Arms was built in 1855 by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, whilst he was also building the Royal Albert Train bridge that connects Plymouth to Cornwall. It is run now by Chef Anton Piotrowski and his wife Clare, and you may remember that Anton won Master Chef in 2012. Amongst his many awards, they have also won the National Award for Best Food pub in 2013.
Guess what, we have booked again for next month!!!!
