Laughed his sock off!

Well actually he didn't but I did!

This is the mobile phone sock belonging to Mr E. He stupidly left it on the arm of the chair whilst drinking his tea. Brodie came up to him to say 'Hello' and swept it off with her tail and into his tea.

Now I found this hilarious, whilst at the same time it made me gag at the thought of the woolly material in the liquid. It's been hard to concentrate today, with the worry of Brodie's ear problem, so it was good to laugh, if only for a minute.

Brodie's visit to the vets has left us none the wiser as to the cause of the lump. We've been told that it could be several things and that it's too small to do a biopsy on. She has gel to have administered twice daily and the vet is hoping that it will shrink on it's own but that we have to keep an eye on it. Since the visit, Brodie has been very subdued and has only got up once from her bed to go to the loo. Fionne seems to know that something is wrong and keeps sniffing the poorly ear. Fingers crossed that this will turn out OK....she's only two, so I keep telling myself that it's unlikely to be anything sinister.
