Curious cows

Was the day out walking with others in the Alblas polder a little South of Rotterdam ~ part of the route was across an old path between the meadows and there we were watched by these young cows, great to find some farmers let them graze in the fields like in old times!
EU regulations press farmers to keep their cows in the sheds during Summertime too as their manure is said to contain too much phosphates ~ it's like Brussels overrules our lives a little too much with all the crazy rules and regulations. It was lovely to see these lassies in the fields and see how nosy they were
