Old Copse, Ashridge Estate

Had a drive out to the Ashridge Estate near Berkhamsted today to photograph the bluebells which are blooming much earlier this year, presumably due to the mild winter.

I followed the route which took me through the Old Copse, where the English bluebells can be seen in their natural environment amid ancient beech trees. The ground was carpeted with bluebells throughout the woods. I also took a few macro focus stack images.
