THORNY

I must admit, when I saw the theme was "Thorny" the first thing to come to mind was cactus (we have plenty of those around here). Unfortunately, they aren't in bloom just yet, and unless they are blooming, they are just plain ole cacti. Instead, while walking back to the building, I saw these holly-looking leaves on a bush with beautiful, tiny yellow flowers. The leaves on the bush are definitely "thorny", AND the picture has some color as well. I promise, as soon as the cacti bloom, I will shoot them and post the pix.
