Agatha Christie looks over Torquay

Last day in lovely Devon today. We had morning coffee at our wonderful beachside cafe with the best views in the world. Sadly, the experience was marred by the constant rumbling of large machinery repairing the enormous damage to the cliffs and beach walls caused by the recent storms. I felt really sorry for the three women who run the cafe as, inevitably, people were being driven away despite the warm sunshine.
In the afternoon, Ken's mum treated us to afternoon tea in The Grand which was delicious. Wandered back along the promenade so decided to blip the statue of Agatha Christie who had such strong associations with Torquay.
