Olive's Adventure

We went for a walk in the park today. While we were standing looking back across the stream, a very upset little lady popped out the cat door and started meowing at us. I showed her how to hop across the bridge and we all went for a wander together. Luckily there were no dogs anywhere to be seen while we were out. She was very clingy and unsure of herself but I think we'll have to do it a bit more often now.

We started the day out with big plans of getting things done. We headed out early to get some jobs done at the shops. Little did we know, the shops don't open until 1pm on ANZAC day. And the first shop we went to was 20mins out of town! This is one of the downsides of being relatively 'off the grid'. We don't watch tv, have no junk mail on our letterbox and don't receive a paper. No one was able to remind us of this. We also worked out that we always go away at this time of year so for 2 out of the last 3 ANZAC days we've been out of the country so we're pretty out of the loop.
We decided to do the shops again tomorrow.
