Flash Crow

I wasn't going to use a BirdCam blip today but this one taken at 5.40 this morning is quite interesting, because the crow was captured by flash - you can see the flash reflected in the door in the background. I think it is a hooded crow but the reflection of the flash off its feathers may be responsible for some of the greyish parts.

My nextdoor neighbour is replacing his 20-year old fence with a new one today and the workman has invaded my patio in order to do the necessary work - that means no birds in my garden today:-( So this crow gets to blip! It's a dull day here - not raining yet but looks like it may. Looks like a day indoors for me:-(
