Tools of the trade...

...plus a Friday night glass of wine (needed after the stressy week).

I had to take my two and a half year old Grandson to nursery this morning. He was rising to a new class and it's always more upsetting when this happens. His little face at the window as he waved goodbye was a bit of a tear jerker.

I had to run some errands but noticed that my front tyre looked a bit flat. As I fitted the pump to inflate it, I sliced my thumb open. Running late with blood dripping from my thumb, I drove through a village where an arctic lorry was in the middle of the road, trying to reverse into a gap the size of a matchbox. He managed to swing it too wide and dragged the back of the lorry along the length of a stationary car. The driver was going to get a bit of a shock when he got back to his car.

On top of everything else, the rain was torrential all day and I had to buy mountboard for my painting. I've left it in the car, as I daren't risk getting it wet.

No significant change to Brodie's ear. It does seem to be drying up, as the gel is providing a protective layer but unfortunately it doesn't provide enough of a layer to protect against a boisterous 12 month old puppy. Fionne is determined to stick her nose in there.
