Ship Cove Waterfall

Ship Cove - (Māori: Meretoto or Totaranui, "the big totara tree") is a small bay in the Queen Charlotte Sound - part of the Marlborough Sounds The Cove was named by Captain James Cook on 15 January 1770 when his ship the Endeavour anchored there to replenish supplies of food, water and wood.

GingerNan, J'amazen and I went out on a boat trip to the outer Queen Charlotte Sound today, to visit Ship Cove and Moturara Island, a bird sanctuary. Many images were taken! I'm delighted with some of my bird and forest images but there isn't time to process any before dinner. So, this waterfall at Ship Cove it is.
