Fire and Water

On the West Coast for the weekend, and after arriving in rain yesterday today was beautiful, sunny, no wind, but not overly warm ... But that didn't stop us heading out in the boat.

First job, start the fire, then kids in the water knee boarding. Meanwhile, I tended the fire. Aided by a quiet beer ;-)

Lunch, then the end of the procrastination and my turn to ski for my annual water ski. A successful first start single ski, in my crouching tiger position :-) Nice! Ending however in a huge crash and full ejection from aforementioned ski. Deep breath, some effort to get back into the ski, and up again. Fab. And actually, the water temp was ok ...

Back to the beach. More fire, a quiet beer, the home. For yet another fire, outdoor baths for the kids, and now leg of lamb on the BBQ.
