A time to sew

A while before Christmas, I borrowed my mums sewing machine and had a quick lesson from her in how to use it. I then proceeded to make all sorts of Christmas presents including bags, oven gloves and placemats. I found that I really enjoyed creating things and being a bit of a hoarder have lots of bits of fabric I have gathered over the years.

I also find sewing relaxing (most of the time!) and a good stress reliever in the evenings when the kids have gone to bed!

I have a few projects on the go/at the ideas stage at the moment and decided to capture some of the tools and fabric (I will admit to tidying them up from the usual piles of stuff abandoned for the next day!!)
