Sick ferret

One of our ferrets was very unwell today so I did a last minute ferret blip - the guy in this photo is our albino Pippin who is perfectly fine, the little guy who was ill is Stanley in this photo.

Stanley is normally food obsessed and occasionally verging on podgy, so it was a real concern when we noticed how tucked up he was and that he'd gone off food! Spent most of the day looking after him and taking him to the vet - they weren't exactly certain what was wrong but the overnight developments revealed the little dafty had managed to eat a fabric tassel from a sofa throw!

All tasseled objects have now been removed and may be destroyed... Just reminds us that you can never be certain your home is pet proof!
