heavy skies

another glorious day, with sunshine and big looming clouds... this time we were in Keswick at Lake Derwent...

I finally managed to go to the Pencil Museum, which I was ridiculously happy about... and we visited a stone circle, Castlerigg... on top of a hill surrounded by the fells, the sense of space and majesty was awesome... it was a stunning place and you could imagine that it would be really atmospheric... if it wasn't for the fact that a couple of minutes after we arrived a coach load of Japanese students swarmed up the hill and surrounded every stone... in the brief time available I did get a couple of shots
