Alternative ice hockey rules - #87 High Sticking

High sticking is often mistaken by referees as the use of a hockey stick to remove your opponent's head! Whilst this is a level of pedantry that referees will often succumb to, this is in fact an essential part of the game, and key to determining the result of any given tie.

True high sticking is actually the part of the game where a player attempts to stick their opponent to the boards (or plexi-glass) using nothing more than the adhesive qualities of their own guts!

This photo shows an excellent example of how this can be done in the game without anyone raising an eyebrow!...apart from the one that is still stuck to the top of the plexi!

Another epic afternoon at the National Finals in Sheffield!
