For the final day of our short break we traversed Cheshire to visit Tatton Park, pausing only to watch the peloton of the Cheshire Classic zoom in front of us.

It was our first visit to Tatton, and it would take much more than one day to explore it fully, but we strolled around the parkland, wandered the formal gardens and visited Home Farm.

At the Japanese garden, the light and shade was irresistible, so here is Fujisan amid acer and magnolia.
