Feeding time at the zoo

Lunch out...with lots of visiting family! Lovely to catch up with everyone and a nice walk round the lake afterwards, in which we managed to completely avoid the rain (though the sky was pretty threatening). Diddy and Maisy wanted their faces painting and so became spiderman and pirate while we were waiting for food. Sarah was a great sport and let them paint her face too. D prefered to draw spiderwebs on his arms, but M did a great job at turning her mum into a rabbit, albeit a bit of a darth maul rabbit!

Lily had lots of cuddles with Tasha and Maddy who did a sterling job looking after her at the other end of the table, making pillows and blankets for farm animals out of sauce sachets, as you do! Joe and Monster Grandad got to play outside with the kids and Grandma Gillian enjoyed balancing things on a fire engine. Typical meal out, really :)
