Phoenix rising

I rather fancied that this cloud formation resembled a phoenix, rising out from behind the church.

I felt really unwell this morning, and went to the doctor's this afternoon: an ear infection I had last week has unfortunately turned into a perforated eardrum.
The doctor wants me to see the ear, nose and throat specialist asap.
As this is a back-Blip, I can report that I've already been referred, and have had a hearing test at the hospital, I'm seeing the specialist there soon.

I'm crossing everything in the hope that the perforation will mend itself and that I can get out of having to have an operation.
