Chaos & Old Age

Oh, yes. They are definitely closing in on me.

The days of my being able to see anything without the aid of at least one pair of glasses are long over. I have distance specs, reading glasses, and sun shades. The other evening, Mr. W and I went out to dinner. It wasn't until we returned home that I realized I'd lost the case that held my readers and sunglasses. I called the restaurant to see if they'd found my "eyes" but they had not. For all of the next day, I fretted over this loss, but finally the phone rang in the evening, and a waitress told me she'd found my glasses in their case, lying in the middle of the road when she left at the end of her shift! Amazingly, they hadn't been run over.
