Blue Sausages?

These are the seed pods of the deciduous Blue Sausage Bush (Decaisnea fargesii) growing in the paddock. The bush is about four metres tall and this year it has a good crop of "sausages" which are also, rather gruesomely, called Dead Man's Fingers.
