Looking Back

My parents.

On the back of the original photograph are the words: Mum & Dad, Otautau races, 1950.
It was possibly motorcycle racing, as Dad had an interest in them when he was young.

My parents would have been 17 years old in this photo, and that looks like a camera Dad is holding in his right hand.

They're actually dressed casually in this photo - can you imagine 17 year-olds dressing like that now?!
