Glowering

The clear skies, sunshine and warmth of yesterday seemed a million miles away this morning as I trudged up the misty hill in a chilly wind. The dogs ran and disappeared from view in the murk, returning to poke me with wet black noses.
The drive to work was grey and dreich, headlights on all the way, and the normally great view of Hoy was obscured by the low cloud. I cracked on with the bathroom and stopped at lunch just as Hoy poked its face out towards the Atlantic, looking to Newfounfland.
It is great to have the wifeycle home for dinner now that she is on early shifts again. :)
