At Bracklinn Falls, Callander

Out walking on an eight mile walk with the club today, starting at Auchenlaich and walking up some beautiful coniferous forest to Bracklinn Falls. From there we continued upward toward Leathan Dhail, but were stopped at a gate by a sign informing us that as lambing was in progress we should go no further on this track.

So we turned and followed a different track back to the Falls, and then followed a cycle track back to Callander. The deviation in the route did not affect our enjoyment, and it is necessary to consider those who make their living from the land in these cases.

The day was warm and sunny, and it was great to be out.

We had a break in Callander for drinks before our homeward journey and we had a good and noisy time in the Crown.
